Of having it all, being the best and the most productive version of ourselves, all while maintaining the perfect balance between our career and personal life.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the very concept of the Dream has been rapidly changing over the last few decades, mostly impacted by technological advances. Life seems to be so fast-paced that it can be hard to keep up, let alone stay ahead of the curve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, let me introduce you to one person who is always one step ahead of all that, and who does live his own version of the Dream \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/simplydigital.gr\/\">Konstantinos Synodinos<\/a>, who managed to merge the 2 of his biggest passions \u2014 business and sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, we noticed that Konstantinos included Clockify by <a href=\"https:\/\/cake.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CAKE.com<\/a> in one of his educational posts, as he often creates content related to useful software and different types of tools. It\u2019s a tribe that\u2019s constantly growing because of this exact thing, of how exciting this new digital, entrepreneurial universe can be with all the tools \u2014 like <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Clockify<\/a> \u2014 and other stuff that we discover daily. And, I have always had a genuine interest and love for that stuff, ever since I was a kid<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"268\" src=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Konstantinos-IG.png\" alt=\"Konstantinos - IG\" class=\"wp-image-13375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Konstantinos-IG.png 700w, https:\/\/clockify.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Konstantinos-IG-300x115.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Just some of his impressive achievements include being:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A 2-time world champion in Kenpo karate,&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An MBA graduate in the Department of Organization and Management,&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 of 32 businessmen selected by the US Department of State to participate in the 2016 <a href=\"https:\/\/obamawhitehouse.archives.gov\/the-press-office\/2016\/06\/22\/fact-sheet-global-entrepreneurship-summit-begins-silicon-valley-new\">Global Entrepreneurship Summit<\/a> in Silicon Valley, and&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The winner of the Greek Entrepreneurship Award of the year 2 times so far.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Since his day also consists of 24 hours, you\u2019re probably wondering how he finds the time to succeed in that many diverse fields and <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/blog\/managing-tasks\/get-things-done\/\">get things done<\/a>. That was one of the areas we tackled in this interview. But, first, we focused on marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"then-vs-now-the-evolution-of-marketing-and-the-role-of-digital\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Then vs. now: the evolution of marketing (and the role of digital)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before going into detail about Konstantinos\u2019 digital marketing success and the importance of taking proper care of our mental health, we went back to the very beginning of his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because, before the transition to digital channels, Konstantinos was a traditional marketer and a brand manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns pro-blockquote is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"631\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Konstantinos-631x630.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13385\" srcset=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Konstantinos-631x630.png 631w, https:\/\/clockify.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Konstantinos-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/clockify.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Konstantinos-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/clockify.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Konstantinos-768x767.png 768w, https:\/\/clockify.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Konstantinos.png 1082w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 631px) 100vw, 631px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cBack in \u201899, when <em>my entrepreneurial effort started, there was no such thing as social media, or digital marketing, or Facebook advertising.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Konstantinos agrees that his experience in traditional marketing is more than relevant to his current success, as all marketing revolves around learning what consumers want and then acting accordingly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So first, we wanted to get his 2 cents on what is the main difference between traditional and digital marketing, considering his vast experience in both. What has changed is the medium where we\u2019re doing marketing. Instead of billboards, and print and TV, marketing is moving towards mobile apps, Google display \u2014 you name it \u2014 all of these choices are available every day. That is where the game changes from traditional to digital marketing<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The answer is quite to the point, and of course, it\u2019s only natural, as technology continually evolves. You\u2019ve probably heard of the expression \u201c<em>Change is the only constant<\/em>\u201d \u2014 and, in this case, it couldn\u2019t be more true. So, the trends are changing by the day, and the abundance of new platforms and tools is also emerging by the day, creating new marketing opportunities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"the-concept-of-digital-marketing-explained\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The concept of digital marketing explained<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With all the change and the complexity of digital marketing, Konstantinos still likes to focus on simplicity. That\u2019s the definition for me. They believe I have a secret source where I find websites, or secret hints, or hacks, for the new stuff that\u2019s coming in. Here\u2019s something interesting and relevant from the very beginning of our interview, when we asked Konstantinos how he was feeling, adding the \u201c&#8230;<em>productive, as always, I suppose<\/em>?\u201d part in the question.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He smiled and said that none of us can always be productive, that each day is different, and that he just always tries to do his best. Try to <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/blog\/productivity\/identify-wasted-time-and-inefficiency\/\">identify wasted time<\/a> and start improving those habits.
