class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Prepare your data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Clockify and QuickBooks to communicate properly, the names of your users and clients must match perfectly in both systems.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Match Employees:<\/strong> The <strong>User Name<\/strong> in Clockify (found in Profile settings) must be identical to the <strong>Employee Display Name<\/strong> in QuickBooks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Match Customers:<\/strong> The <strong>Project Name<\/strong> in Clockify must be identical to the <strong>Customer Name<\/strong> (or Project Name) in match QuickBooks, and the initial integration sync will automatically create Clockify projects for your existing QuickBooks customers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Connect Clockify to QuickBooks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once your names are matched up, you are ready to link the two platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to your Clockify account as an Admin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Click the <strong>three dots menu<\/strong> next to your workspace name (top left) and select <strong>Workspace settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Navigate to the <strong>Integrations<\/strong> tab&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Scroll down, expand the <strong>QuickBooks<\/strong> section<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li Click <strong>Next <\/strong>on the confirmation screen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: View team members in Quickbooks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block wp-block-paragraph\">To check if your team members were properly synced with Quickbooks:<br><br>1. Log in to your Quickbooks account<br>2. If you realize an employee made a typo after sending the data, you must manually correct the time entry inside QuickBooks.<br><br>To edit a time entry in Quickbooks:<br><br>1. On the left navigation menu, click <strong>Time<\/strong> (or go to <strong>All Apps<\/strong> and select <strong>Time<\/strong>)<br>2. Click on <strong>Time entries<\/strong><br>3. Look for the <strong>Display by<\/strong> dropdown and select <strong>Date<\/strong><br>4. Filter by the appropriate <strong>Date range<\/strong> or search for the specific team member&#8217;s name<br>5. Locate the time entry you want to change and click <strong>Edit<\/strong> next to it<br>6. If you have a time entry that exceeds this limit, it will not sync successfully.
