Clockify notifications help you stay on top of your tasks, time entries, approvals, and team activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set up notification preferences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can choose which notifications you receive (or don\u2019t receive).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To manage your individual notifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click your Profile settings<\/strong> in the top-right corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Preferences<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Go to the Email Notifications<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Check or uncheck the boxes to enable or disable specific alerts<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Notifications about timesheet submissions <\/strong>and time off requests <\/strong>are sent if these options are enabled in the Profile settings<\/strong> of the admin, manager, or workspace owner.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Timesheet notifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Notifications about timesheets are sent to the assigned role specified in your Workspace settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To check who can approve or reject timesheets:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click on the \"\" three dot icon<\/strong> next to your workspace name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Select Workspace settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Go to Permissions<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Locate the Who can approve submitted timesheets and expenses<\/strong> section<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Depending on this setting, here\u2019s an overview of who gets timesheet notifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Workspace setting<\/strong><\/th>Timesheets submissions<\/strong><\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
      Admins and team managers<\/td>Team managers<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
      Admins and Project managers<\/td>For assigned projects:<\/strong> The Project manager<\/strong> receives the notification.

      For unassigned projects:<\/strong> If a user tracks time but it isn’t assigned to a specific project, the Workspace owner<\/strong> receives the notification. <\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      Admins are not notified in either setting but retain the ability to view\/approve\/reject all requests.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Timesheet submitted<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Notifications are sent to the manager or workspace owner every time a team member submits their timesheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
