This article acts as a simplified guide to help workspace owners and admins set up activity monitoring for their team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Configure your workspace settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To configure your activity monitoring settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Set your inactivity threshold (between 1 and 10 minutes, with a default of 2 minutes) to define exactly when the system should mark a user as away from their desk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Turn screenshots on<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    To turn on screenshots for your team:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Select which types of apps and websites count as productive time<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Step 2: Install the desktop agent<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      To begin collecting data, you must ensure the tracking agent is installed on host machines. You have two ways to deploy it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      1. For users<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Admins and workspace owners need to invite them to the workspace via the Team page. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • A link to the tracking agent installer will be sent along with the invite. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Users will be prompted to download the Windows or macOS installer during their account creation flow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • For admins<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Admins and workspace owners can:\n
              \n
            • Install the tracking agent by navigating to Activity Monitoring > Agent apps<\/strong> and clicking Install agent app<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Send team members the tracking agent link by going to Activity Monitoring > Productivity > Install agent app <\/strong>and then selecting Copy link<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Step 3: Assign installed devices to members                        <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

              Newly installed agents immediately start collecting data, but they will initially appear in an Unassigned<\/strong> state. You need to assign agent apps to each member after successful installation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Once assigned, all historical activity data collected during the unassigned period will retroactively link to that user’s timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Step 4: Define your initial productivity classifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                Raw activity tracking data initially enters your system as Undefined<\/strong>. Because your team’s utilization scores depend directly on these classifications, you need to define what counts as work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                3. Review the directory table of detected apps and websites, and classify them as Productive<\/strong>, Neutral<\/strong>, ou Unproductive<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
