{"id":17560,"date":"2024-04-02T09:51:21","date_gmt":"2024-04-02T09:51:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/?p=17560"},"modified":"2026-01-21T13:54:18","modified_gmt":"2026-01-21T13:54:18","slug":"export-user-info","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/administration\/export-user-info","title":{"rendered":"Export user info"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"translation-block\">If you\u2019re managing a lot of users and would like to have a single file that summarizes all their data (name, email address, billable rate, role&#8230;), you can do that by using the <strong>Export <\/strong>user info feature on <strong>Teams<\/strong> page.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By exporting info to a CSV\/Excel file, you can easily analyze it and even integrate it with some other tools like accounting software, project management tools or some CRM (customer relationship management) systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"note\">User info export is available on all subscription plans, but can only be performed by Admins.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">To export user info:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Navigate to <strong>Team<\/strong> page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Depending on the info you\u2019d like to export, choose:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Full<\/strong> tab (info about <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/administration\/inviting-users\">full members<\/a>*)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Limited <\/strong>tab (info about <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/track-time-and-expenses\/limited-users\">limited members<\/a>*)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Groups<\/strong> tab (info about <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/administration\/user-groups\">user groups<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Continue and:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Expand the <strong>Export<\/strong> dropdown menu at the top right corner of the page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Choose the format: <strong>CSV<\/strong>\/<strong>Excel<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"445\" src=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/export_user_data-1024x445.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17568\" srcset=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/export_user_data-1024x445.png 1024w, https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/export_user_data-300x130.png 300w, https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/export_user_data-768x334.png 768w, https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/export_user_data-1536x667.png 1536w, https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/export_user_data-2048x890.png 2048w, https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/export_user_data-18x8.png 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>User info will be exported to your device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The type of info that is exported depends on the selected filters. If not filtered out otherwise, all active and inactive users are downloaded by default. Also, since invited users do not have a name set until they join the workspace, the <strong>Name<\/strong> column is empty.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>*Full\/Limited tabs are visible only if Kiosk is enabled in the Workspace settings.
