Here\u2019s how to fully remove the app from your system based on your operating system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uninstall Clockify on Windows<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>          1. Uninstall Clockify: <br><br>Begin by uninstalling Clockify from your system through the standard uninstallation process (e.g., via &#8220;Add or remove programs&#8221; in Windows Settings).<br><br>          2. Delete Residual Files (User Data):<strong><br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to the following directory: C:\\Users\\&lt;Your Username&gt;\\AppData\\Local<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"note\">Locate and delete any folders named &#8220;Clockify&#8221; within the Local folder.<br><br>The AppData folder is often hidden by default. If you cannot see it, open File Explorer, go to the &#8220;View&#8221; tab, and check the &#8220;Hidden items&#8221; box in the &#8220;Show\/hide&#8221; section.<br><br>3. Delete Residual Files (Program Data):<strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the root of your C: drive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to the ProgramData folder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"note\">Locate and delete any folders named &#8220;Clockify&#8221; within the ProgramData folder.<br><br>The ProgramData folder may also be hidden by default. If so, follow the same steps as above to reveal hidden items.<br><br>4. Reinstall Clockify:<strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Visit the official <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/windows-time-tracking\">Clockify website for Windows<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Download the Clockify application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Install the application following the on-screen instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1125\" height=\"632\" install of the app, you can reset it without deleting the files:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the Clockify app and bring it to the front<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Click on the <strong>Help<\/strong> option in the menu bar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Select <strong>Reset Clockify<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure your app completely and might help resolve issues you\u2019re facing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Manual Reinstall<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log out of Clockify.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Open Terminal (click on the <strong>Launchpad<\/strong> in the <strong>Dock, <\/strong>search for<strong> Terminal<\/strong>, and click to open) and execute the command: defaults delete coing.ClockifyDesktop<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">In <strong>Terminal<\/strong>, execute the command: tccutil reset All coing.ClockifyDesktop<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"674\" class=\"translation-block\">Click <strong>Go<\/strong> in the top menu bar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Hold the <strong>Option<\/strong> key<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Click <strong>Library<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Open <strong>Application Support<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image Find the <strong>ClockifyDesktop<\/strong> folder and delete it<br>  7. If you see files such as default.realm or default.realm.lock delete them as well<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Open <strong>Finder<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Go to <strong>Applications<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Find <strong>Clockify Desktop<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Drag it to <strong>Trash<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Download the new version of the App from the App Store or <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/apps\/mac-desktop-app\">our website<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The clean reinstall will delete all of your Auto Tracker data.
