With the Clockify & Plaky integration, you can track time for your Plaky<\/a> boards, items, and subitems, and have that time logged as Clockify projects and tasks without switching between the apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have at least one active workspace in both apps within the same CAKE.com organization, this integration is automatically enabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How it works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With the Clockify-Plaky integration, you can track time for your projects and tasks directly from Plaky\u2019s boards, items, and subitems. By connecting a Plaky board with a Clockify project, you create a direct link between your Plaky items\/subitems and Clockify tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connect Clockify project with Plaky board<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To track time on your Plaky items and subitems, you, as a board owner, must have access to at least one Clockify workspace in the same CAKE.com<\/a> organization and connect it to your Plaky board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create Plaky board<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you already have a board, skip to Connect to Clockify<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create Plaky board: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click +<\/strong> in the menu of the left<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Choose New Board<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Choose Create from scratch<\/strong>, file<\/strong> or template<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Name your board and click Create Board<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Connect to Clockify<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    To connect your Plaky board to Clockify:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Go to your Plaky board settings<\/strong> and click on Time tracking<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. In the settings, you\u2019ll see a list of Clockify projects you have access to <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Choose the one you want to connect to your board<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      One Plaky board can only be connected to one Clockify project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Once you connect the Plaky board to the Clockify project, there is a direct connection between your Plaky items\/subitems and Clockify tasks and the entire time tracked on this board will be logged under the connected Clockify project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      After connecting your board, you can also choose to lock it for other board members. This prevents them from editing the selected board.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      If you don’t have access to Clockify workspace in your CAKE.com<\/a> organization, you can create one directly from the Plaky integration settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Track time from an item<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Once the Plaky board is connected to the Clockify project, a board owner can configure the integration settings directly from the item sidebar, in a Time tracking<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Users with access to the connected Clockify project will see a Time tracking<\/strong> tab with predefined settings, including Clockify project, task, and billability.
      Users without access will be notified that time tracking is not possible and should reach out to an admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Track time via Time tracker<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      When you click the Start timer<\/strong> in Plaky, a timer also starts in Clockify. Any changes you make (e.g. update description or task) will automatically sync between both apps. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To use Time tracker: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to your board and open an item\/subitem<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Choose Time tracker <\/strong>> Timer<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Enter project, task and other necessary details<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Click Start timer<\/strong> to start tracking time<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Stop timer <\/strong>when you\u2019re done<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Track time in Manual mode<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Manual mode lets you enter start and end time for your time entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        To add time manually:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Go to your board and open an item\/subitem<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Choose Time tracker <\/strong>> Manual<\/strong> tab
          You’ll see a form with predefined details, which you can adjust as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Enter date, start time, end time, project, task and other necessary details<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Click Add time<\/strong> to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          To add and edit time manually, the Force timer option needs to be disabled in the Workspace settings.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Use Plaky to manage your projects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Plaky is a free project management tool that helps you with your projects, teams, and tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Manage projects & tasks<\/strong>
          Create and manage projects and tasks using unlimited Boards<\/strong> and Items<\/strong>. Break down larger tasks into smaller components with Subitems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Collaborate with your team<\/strong>
          Work with team members in shared Workspaces<\/strong> and Spaces<\/strong>. You can invite members to specific Boards and share Items with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Organize your work<\/strong>
          Add multiple Boards and organize Items into groups. Customize your boards by making them Public or Private, and by setting specific permissions for other users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
