accrued overtime hours into a usable time off balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When using this feature, it helps to understand the difference between these two related concepts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Overtime:<\/strong> The amount of time worked minus your set daily, weekly, or monthly capacity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>TOIL:<\/strong> The specific policy that allows you to convert those accrued overtime hours into time member&#8217;s overtime calculation setting. For example, the same tracked time might generate 16 hours of overtime under a <strong>daily calculation<\/strong>, but only 8 hours under a <strong>weekly calculation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Permissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What you can (or can not) do with TOIL depends on your role within the workspace.
