Admins and managers can review and approve tracked time entries and expenses submitted by team members. Timesheet approval and expenses approval have separate tabs, but they are both located in the Approvals<\/strong> page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approving tracked time<\/strong> is available on Standard plan and higher<\/a> and can be performed by workspace owners, admins, project managers or team managers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Enable approvals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can choose to enable timesheet or expense approval in your workspace settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click on the \"\"three dots icon<\/strong> next to your workspace name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Workspace settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select Enable time approval <\/strong>and\/or Enable expenses approval<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Select the frequency of when approvals are made (Weekly, Semi-monthly, or Monthly)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If Enable expenses approval isn\u2019t an option, you need to activate expense tracking first.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Activate expenses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    To activate expenses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to Workspace settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click Activate expenses<\/strong> on the bottom part of the Approvals<\/strong> section<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click the toggle to ON for Activate expense tracking<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      You should now have the option to enable time and expenses approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Permissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Depending on the permissions defined in the Workspace settings<\/strong>, submitted time and expenses can be managed from the Approvals<\/strong> page in the following way:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
