Efficient time tracking is at Clockify\u2019s core, and we understand that different users prefer different ways of representing duration. With preferred duration format, you can see, enter, and export time in format that suits your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clockify has three different duration formats:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Full<\/td>hh:mm:ss<\/td>2<\/em> is 2 minutes <\/strong>(00:02:00)<\/td><\/tr>
Compact<\/td>h:mm<\/td>2<\/em> is 2 minutes<\/strong> (0:02)<\/td><\/tr>
Decimal<\/td>h.hh<\/td>2<\/em> is 2 hours<\/strong> (2.00)<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Set up duration format<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To set up duration format on your workspace: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click on the three-dot icon<\/strong> next to your workspace name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Workspace settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Find duration format in the General<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Choose one from the dropdown<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Duration types and calculations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Once you selected duration format, calculations and displays are applied consistently to ensure accuracy across reports and timesheets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
