start tracking time:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the app<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Click the <strong>Log in <\/strong>button in the <strong>Login<\/strong> window<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">You&#8217;ll be redirected to the <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/apps\/windows-desktop-app#log-in\">web app Login<\/a> screen. to the web app, you\u2019ll automatically be logged in to the Linux app, as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Log in via browser<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Once you&#8217;ve logged in the web app, allow Clockify to <strong>Open in browser<\/strong>. <br>You&#8217;ll automatically log in to the Linux app in browser and can start using the app and tracking time.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Custom domain and subdomain login<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">If your workspace is on a custom domain or subdomain you have to choose your custom domain or subdomain then log in through the browser.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Time tracking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can keep track of your time in Clockify Linux app in two ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use a timer \u2013 Track your time in live mode, while completing your tasks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add time manually \u2013 Enter how much you\u2019ve worked (e.g. 1.5 for 1h 30min) and click <strong>Add<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"604\" height=\"1024\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add time using timer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The timer mode is used to track live time during some activity. But first, make sure that the timer mode is activated. Click on the menu icon in the upper right corner and select <strong>Timer<\/strong>. After that, simply start the timer with one click.<br><br>Usually the timer mode is set automatically, so you don&#8217;t need any previous setup.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add time manually<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">To add time manually, activate this tracking mode by clicking on the menu icon in the upper right corner and selecting <strong>Manual<\/strong>. After that, you can enter the duration, and click <strong>Add<\/strong>. holidays<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Clockify also supports tracking holidays and time off on the web app. Time off and holiday entries are distinctly displayed in the tracker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"note\">Time off and holiday entries can be created by Owners and Admins on the web app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"tip translation-block\">For more information on how to create time off and holiday entries, check out&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/track-time-and-expenses\/track-holidays-time-off\">Track holidays &amp; time off<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Options with time entries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Continue timer<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>You can quickly continue a timer from a previous time entry:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Find time entry for which you want to continue tracking time<\/li>\n<li>Click on the play button\u00a0 <span id=\"emoji-info-value\">\u25b6<\/span><\/li>\n<li>A new timer will pick up that time entry\u2019s details (description, project, tag, billability) and start ticking<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editing time entries<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>You can modify any time entry simply by clicking on them and changing what you want.<br \/>Modify time entry in one of the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Add project and task<\/li>\n<li>Add tags<\/li>\n<li>Add\/edit custom fields<\/li>\n<li>Change description<\/li>\n<li>Change start\/end time and duration<\/li>\n<li>Mark as billable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delete entry<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To delete a time entry:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on a time entry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Click <strong>Delete<\/strong> in <strong>Time entry details<\/strong> screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm the action<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Restore deleted\/discarded entries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clockify lets you restore any entries you\u2019ve accidentally deleted or discarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"note\">This feature is available to all users, regardless of their role or subscription plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you accidentally delete an entry:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Immediately after deleting, a quick message with <strong>Undo<\/strong> button will appear<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Click<strong> Undo<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deleted entry will be restored on all relevant tracking pages<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Restore a discarded running entry in the same way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create project, task, tag or client<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to create a project, task or tag<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you wish to create a project or tag follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click to create or edit a time entry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Select <strong>Add project<\/strong>\/<strong>Add tag<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">In the dropdown click <strong>Create new project\/task <\/strong>or <strong>Create new tag<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If adding a project: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Enter project&#8217;s name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Select color <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Click <strong>Add Project<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Optionally, select client <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Select the project&#8217;s billability status and visibility<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">If adding a task:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Click <strong>Add project<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Select Create new task<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Enter task name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Click <strong>Add<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">If adding a tag: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Enter tag name <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Click <strong>Add<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to create a client<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you wish to create a client keep in mind that this is only possible while creating a new project. Simply cancel the project creation and the created client will remain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"note\">Regular (non-admin) users aren\u2019t able to create clients, projects, and tags if they are not granted these permissions. To give them such permissions, log in via Web browser and enable this in the Workspace settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Auto tracker<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Auto tracker tracks your time across apps and sites you are visiting. Any time longer than 5 seconds can be customized in the Auto tracker settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What should you know about Auto tracker?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All recorded data is stored locally on your computer (nothing is sent online)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only you can view your recorded activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can view past data up to one week<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data older than 7 days is automatically deleted forever <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Auto tracker tracks changes that last minimum 5 seconds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>URLs of visited websites are not tracked<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>App usage is automatically organized alongside the auto-tracked entry table, with the time spent on each app summarized<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can select these grouped entries and add them as individual time entries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To narrow your options, filter auto-tracked entries by app name, description, or URL<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The table will display relevant results, allowing you to select and merge them into a single time entry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Selected items are merged into a single time entry in Clockify, with descriptions included, start time from the earliest record, and total duration used to calculate the end time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can adjust the start time, end time, and duration before creating the merged entry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The duration reflects the total time of the merged entries, and the start time is based on the first auto-tracked entry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Importing auto tracked time<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can create time entries in Clockify based on the recorded activities. Once you click on the plus (+) button, click <strong>Delete<\/strong> in the pop-up window. Click on the bell to read new notifications.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Menu options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The menu is located in the upper right-hand corner. Then, all you have to do is type what you&#8217;re working on and start the timer, and the project will be selected automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can choose between: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A fixed project, which will be always used when you start a timer for an entry without a project (until you change the default project), or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Last used project<\/strong>, and the timer will pick up the most recently used available project from your list of time entries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To configure any additional settings for your profile, go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/administration\/profile-settings\">Profile settings<\/a> in the web app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Offline tracking mode<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can track time in Clockify Linux app even if you&#8217;re offline. You don&#8217;t need to specifically turn on offline mode, it will happen automatically if you are not connected to the internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can create time entries manually or start\/stop the timer. Entries made while offline will be saved locally on your computer. Once you get back online they\u2019ll get synced with your web account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects, tasks, and tags are not available while offline, therefore if those fields are required, you will be able to edit time entries before they are synced.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you\u2019re offline, you won\u2019t be able to see your other time entries, only those that were created while you were offline and which haven\u2019t been synced yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"note\">If you are using the app in the <strong>offline mode<\/strong>, please make sure you\u2019ve synced your time entries with the cloud prior to logging out. If you fail to do that, all the data that is not synced at the moment of logging out, will be lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Troubleshooting menu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In an effort to anticipate any issues you may encounter when using the app, we\u2019ve added a menu at the top left corner of the app.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex
