href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/dcaa-compliance\">DCAA<\/a> require you to keep precise records with audit trails for all changes.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">You can run audits for a particular date or time period, for a specific user, or for an action that was made (e.g. <em>creation, edits, deletion<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Audit logs older than 1 reports<\/a> even further every time you export them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">You can choose which columns to display in reports, no matter if it\u2019s in CSV, Excel, or PDF format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><mark style=\"background-color:#e1f5fe\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><em>For example,<\/em> if you\u2019re sharing the report with a client, you might notification).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Screenshots are taken every 5 minutes and are by default blurred for privacy and security reasons, but they can also be taken in higher resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"decimal-format\" class=\"wp-block-heading translation-block\">Decimal format<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Activating <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/track-time-and-expenses\/duration-format\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/extra-features\/decimal-format\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">decimal format<\/a> will enable you to see, enter, and export time in decimal format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">When you export your data it will be displayed as such, so you get the prepared numbers for further calculations or analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"management\" class=\"wp-block-heading translation-block\">MANAGEMENT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"time-off\" class=\"wp-block-heading translation-block\">Time off<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Your team\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/features\/time-off\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/features\/time-off\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">time off<\/a> is managed through Holidays and Policies. The difference is that Holidays don\u2019t require the approval process, unlike Policies which usually do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Both <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/track-time-and-expenses\/create-manage-time-off-policy\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/extra-features\/time-off#manage-holidays\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Holidays<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/track-time-and-expenses\/create-manage-time-off-policy#create-and-manage-policies\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/help\/extra-features\/time-off#creating-and-managing-policies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Policies<\/a> will have a dedicated color to distinguish them easily, and a list of people they apply to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Holidays can be set to repeat annually on selected dates. And Policies can be customized even further, by choosing if they will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">be expressed in days or hours,&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">require approval,&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">have a negative balance so users can request time off even if they don\u2019t have accrued days,&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">automatically accrue each year, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">be possible to request half a day off.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Time off requests can be filtered by status (<em>pending, approved, rejected<\/em>), team member, and date or time period, and then exported for your internal off policy or holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The Balance tab shows how many days team members have used and how many time off days they have left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">You can also manually add or remove time off days from their balance, see their history of time off changes, and export data for your internal logs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"approval\" class=\"wp-block-heading translation-block\">Approval<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">No matter what type of business you&#8217;re in, you&#8217;re bound to need some kind of <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/features\/approval\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/features\/approval\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">approval<\/a>, whether it&#8217;s for work hours, team time off, or expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><mark style=\"background-color:#e1f5fe\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><em>Example<\/em>: If the law requires that recorded work hours should be reviewed by at least two people (e.g. employee and manager), timesheet approval will make sure this is respected.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">However your team tracks their time, their work hours will be visible in the Timesheet section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">From there, they can review it and submit the timesheet for manager approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Submitted timesheets and expenses will have a \u201cpending approval\u201d label, so you know they\u2019ve already been submitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">You can review pending requests and reject or approve them one by one, or glance over the main information and approve all timesheets you work 40 hours a week and someone submits a timesheet with 37 hours, and you see that the employee took 3 hours off that week, you can instantly know this timesheet can be approved.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Pending requests can show more details and be edited if you just click on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">You can also remind Team Managers to approve their team\u2019s timesheets and remind all members who haven\u2019t, to submit their timesheets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">All approved or rejected timesheets and expenses will be visible in the Archive tab, where you can filter them by date, team, and status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"scheduling\" class=\"wp-block-heading translation-block\">Scheduling<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In Clockify you can make schedules in two ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">by allocating people to projects (Project View)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">by allocating projects to people (Team View)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">However you <a href=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/features\/scheduling\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/clockify.me\/features\/scheduling\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">make your schedules<\/a>, you will see the same information in both views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In the <strong>Project View<\/strong>, you start by adding projects to the list and then allocating people to them.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"721\" you know how much time to allocate daily, weekly, or monthly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Here you can also add milestones to a project timeline and mark any important dates or events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">When creating an assignment, you can set its start time, mark it as billable, repeat the assignment for \u201cx\u201d number of weeks, and add a personal note for more detailed instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Once published, team members will be able to see their assignments in Calendar and start tracking time on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Team view<\/strong> lets you make schedules based on the team\u2019s working capacity. Creating an assignment functions the same as in Project View.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">If you schedule someone over their capacity, Clockify by CAKE.com will warn you so you can edit
