In Clockify, there are two main ways you can add time entries: automatic (use a start-and-stop timer) and manual (add a complete time entry).
Time Tracking
Time tracking in Clockify is simple – you just enter what you’re working on and start the timer. Or, add time manually after the fact.
Adding time manually
If you forgot to start the timer, or your prefer to fill in all your work hours in one go, use manual mode and time one by one.
Entering time in timesheet
See all your time entries in a timesheet view and add time more quickly.
Editing time entries
You can edit any time entry you’ve made directly in your timesheet on the Timer Tracker page by simply clicking on it and typing what you want.
Categorizing time entries (tags)
You can allocate time entries to projects and clients to keep your data organized, and then further classify time entries using tasks.
Idle detection, Pomodoro, and reminders
Track time with greater accuracy with the help of time tracking reminders, automatic clock-out, and idle detection.
