Audit specific app or website usage
If you are a Workspace admin or Team manager who wants a deeper analysis on how a specific application impacts overall productivity across teams, use the App & website overview página.
Ve a Monitoring > Dashboard to check productive/unproductive team members, and view page visits (with screenshots if enabled).

Analyze usage by scope #
Individual users and departments use applications differently. Reviewing data across different levels in the organization helps you identify high-level usage patterns and spot anomalies before adjusting the rules.
Switch views across teams and members #
Use the tabs to switch the displayed data to the exact level of detail you need. Switch between Workspace rules, Group rules, y Member rules to compare organization-wide usage against department trends or inspect individual user activity.

Productivity rules follow a hierarchy, where the more specific setting overrides a general setting.
For example, if a specific website is classified as Unproductive in the workspace but a member logs productive hours with it, you should check the Member rules tab to confirm if a specific member rule overrides the workspace default.
Review top users list #
La Top members tile displays the list of top 5 individuals in the workspace who use the specific app or website the most. Use this list to check how much time they spend in the app, then verify the pages visited in the Latest subpages and Screenshots sections.

Investigate subpages and tabs #
La Latest subpages tile displays additional details about the app or website, specifically a breakdown of tabs or documents opened by the users while the system was tracking their time.

If you find suspicious activity, review this list to verify the activity and how the application was used based on its classification. For example:
- Web browsers: When auditing a browser like Chrome or Safari, the log shows the opened tabs and the profile (e.g. New tab – Profile 1 – Google.com), including the timestamp of when it was used (e.g. Wed, Aug 15, 4:36).
- Apps and websites: When auditing a website like
youtube.com, the title of the video active on screen will be displayed (e.g. Youtube – When Sunny Gets Blue) and the timestamp of when it was viewed (e.g. Wed, Aug 15, 4:36).
For example you opened the page for an undefined website. Use the list to check the specific activity for undefined periods and match the timestamps with the screenshots.
If you don’t see screenshots in the page, make sure that your settings are configured to capture screenshots. Check the Monitoring quick start setup guide for steps on how to enable screenshots in your workspace.
Manage classification and tracking rules #
Once you get the picture on how your employees use the app or website, you can update its assigned productivity type and how it is tracked by the system at different levels across the workspace.

Only Workspace admins can view and modify the activity type.
To change the category or activity assigned to an application/website:
- Open the App & website overview página
- Go to the tab of the scope where you want to update the classification (e.g. Workspace rules)
- Do any of the following:
- Change Productivity type – Select the category from the dropdown list (e.g. Neutral) and confirm the change in the confirmation window

All newly detected apps and websites initially enter the system as Undefined. Once you change an item’s productivity type to Productive, Neutral, or Unproductive, it cannot be changed back to Undefined.
If you identify from reviewing the data that an application has been misclassified, you have the option to apply the change to previously recorded activities when you update the Productivity type.
To do this, select the Include historical data checkbox before clicking Actualizar. Changes are applied immediately and will affect past productivity calculations.

- Change the Activity type – Select the activity from the dropdown list (e.g. Always active)

Any changes made to the Activity type take effect immediately, but will only apply to future activity tracking.
