Clockify free feature #3: Timesheet

On the Calendar page in Clockify, employees see their time entries as blocks on a daily or weekly timeline. This makes it easier to spot overlapping entries or gaps in their schedule. Here, they can also:

- Connect their Google or Outlook calendar to view all their planned events directly within the Calendar page, and

Adding a time entry in the Calendar is easy — click on an empty time slot, enter your work start and end times, and select a date. Then add a description, tags, and a project. Finally, click Add.

Team members can start the Timer on events or convert events to entries (provided their Google or Outlook calendars are connected).
To edit their tracked time, employees can simply resize the blocks to change the duration or start and end times of their entries. They can even drag and drop blocks to change the date — see below:

Clockify free feature #8: Idle detection and reminders
Like the Pomodoro timer, Clockify’s Idle detection and Reminders are available in Clockify’s desktop apps (macOS and Windows). They can also be used in Clockify’s Chrome and Firefox browser extensions.
Once Idle detection is enabled, it detects when employees are away from their computers while the Timer is running. If there’s no mouse movement or keyboard input for X minutes, the Timer will continue to run, but will treat those minutes (and the time after that) as idle.
When an employee returns to their computer and stops the Timer, they’ll get a notification like the one below:
