Clock in and out via kiosk

The kiosk is launched on a shared device so users can clock in and track their activities. Only assigned users can clock in the kiosk.

Einstempeln / Ausstempeln #

There are two ways to clock in the kiosk depending on the authentication method enabled by your Organization owner/Workspace admin in the workspace.

Anmelden per QR-Code #

So meldest du dich über QR-Code am Kiosk an: 

  1. Öffne deine Kiosk-App
  2. Wähle QR-Code scannen
  3. Scanne deinen persönlichen QR-Code (per E-Mail gesendet)

Nachdem du ihn gescannt hast, kannst du dich am Kiosk anmelden.

Tipp

Falls der QR-Code fehlschlägt, kannst du als Ersatzlösung deine 6-stellige PIN verwenden.

Anmelden per PIN (4- oder 6-stellig) #

So meldest dich über PIN-Code am Kiosk an:

  1. Starte den Kiosk
  2. Wähle dein Profil
  3. Gib deine persönliche PIN ein
  4. Klicke auf Einstempeln

If you can’t remember your PIN, click the Forgot your PIN? link and confirm the action. This will notify the owner/admin to reset the member PIN.

People who are clocked-in will have a green dot next to them on the kiosk list.
To see who’s currently clocked-in in the web app, go to the team Dashboard.

To end the shift, follow the same steps and click Ausstempeln.

Hinweis

Keep in mind that if you don’t clock out, your timer will continue running even after the Kiosk locks automatically. If this happens, contact your admin to stop your timer.

Track activities #

Once logged in the kiosk, you can now start tracking your tasks and activities.

Projekt/Aufgabe wählen #

Um ein Projekt oder eine Aufgabe zu wählen, solltest du:

  1. Zum aktivierten Kiosk navigieren 
  2. Auf die Schaltfläche Projekt auswählen tippen
  3. Du erhältst eine Liste mit allen Projekten/Aufgaben
  4. Um dich bei einem Projekt anzumelden, solltest du darauf tippen, oder erweitern und eine bestimmte Aufgabe auswählen

Any modifications made to projects or tasks on the kiosk will also be reflected on the web app.

Zwischen Projekten/Aufgaben wechseln #

If enabled in the workspace, you can switch from the default project to a different project or task while clocked in the kiosk.

Um das Projekt/die Aufgabe zu wechseln:

  1. Öffne die Projektliste
  2. Wähle das neue Projekt/die neue Aufgabe aus
  3. Tippe auf Wechseln

Switching to a different project or task will stop the current time entry and start a new one.
Wenn die Option Pausen feature is enabled in your workspace, you can start a break when you sign into the kiosk.

All the changes made here in the kiosk are synced to your main Clockify workspace.
