Filtering reports allows you to isolate specific time entries using date ranges and custom variables so you can view exactly the data you need.

This feature is available to all users, but viewing date ranges longer than 31 days is only available on paid plans (Basic, Standard, Pro, and Enterprise).

Set a date range #

  1. Go to Reports > Summary/Detailed>Weekly
  2. Click the dates in the calendar (upper right corner)
  3. Das Startdatum aus dem linken Kalender und das Enddatum aus dem rechten Kalender wählen

You can select predefined options like Today, This week, or Last month, or click the arrows to easily navigate between previous and upcoming periods.

Hide or unhide filters #

  1. Click on the Filter dropdown menu at the top of the page
  2. Check the items you want to show in your filter menu
  3. Uncheck the items you want to hide from your filter menu

Frequently asked questions (FAQs) #

Can I save my frequently used filter settings?

While you cannot save just a filter setup as a standalone preset, you can save the entire report with the filters applied. Once you configure your desired date ranges and filters, click the Save icon at the top of the page.

You can name the report and access it later from your Saved Reports, which will automatically load all of your preferred filter criteria.

Can I export the data after I’ve applied my filters?

Yes. After applying your filters and isolating the exact data you need, you can export the results. Click the Export button in the upper-right corner of the report screen to download your filtered data as a PDF, CSV, or Excel file. The exported file will only include the data that matches your filter parameters.

After filtering my data, can I change how it is organized on the screen?

Yes. You can use the Group by and Subgroup options. For example, after filtering for a specific client, you can group the remaining time entries by “Project” and subgroup them by “User” or “Task” to create a highly structured breakdown of the work completed.
