How Marc describes Adesso Spain and its mission
At the very beginning of our conversation, we wanted to know what exactly Adesso Spain does, and Marc Carreras was happy to tell us:

As Marc further explains, Adesso Spain aims to successfully guide companies through the digital transformation by providing customized technology solutions:

We were also curious about what type of clients Adesso Spain serves. In Marc’s words, Adesso Spain provides solutions to a diverse range of clients — from banks and hospitals to exhibition and insurance companies:

“Our clients span a variety of industries, including banking, insurance, health, energy, retail, and industrial. We offer services that range from IT consulting and software development to process automation, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and outsourcing.”
The creation of Adesso Spain: Part of an expansion plan
After learning about their mission, we asked Marc if he could tell us how Adesso Spain came to be. As it turns out, creating Adesso Spain was part of Adesso’s efforts to establish its presence outside of Germany, where Adesso was originally founded:

“Adesso Spain was established in 2018 as a branch of Adesso AG, with the goal of expanding the presence of the group in Spain and offering its entire portfolio of technology solutions.”
Aside from Spain, Adesso now operates in many other countries, as Marc proudly points out:

“We operate in Germany, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, the Netherlands, the Nordic countries, and the United Kingdom. With more than 10,100 employees in more than 60 headquarters of Adesso Group, we are one of the leading IT service providers in German-speaking countries.”
Which work model does Adesso Spain use?
In Adesso Spain, they currently have 86 employees, representing part of a larger community within Adesso Group.
We were wondering what work model they apply — remote, in-office, or hybrid. To boost employee productivity and enhance their well-being, Adesso Spain allows their employees certain flexibility in terms of where they’ll work from:

“We support a hybrid and flexible model in Adesso Spain, where each employee can choose when to work from home and when from the office.”
Marc also added that Adesso Spain recognizes the importance of in-person collaboration for better teamwork, which is why they actively encourage it:

What challenges did Adesso Spain want to overcome with Clockify?
